Medano Beach

This is the most popular beach in Cabo San Lucas, it’s located next to the Marina within a walking distance. Its beautiful turquoise and swimmable waters offer a variety of activities along the coastline. Waverunners, water taxis, paddleboards, kayaks, parasailing, and snorkeling are some of the water sports available on the beach. This is one of the main departure locations if you want to visit Cabos’ Landmark, the Arch of Los Cabos. Many of the most popular restaurants and beach bars are in this area; Mango Deck, Edith’s, and Baja Cantina.

Santa María Bay

The best location for snorkeling in Cabo San Lucas, that’s why most of the catamarans anchor on this bay. Due to its calm water surrounded by mountains, this is a perfect location to enjoy snorkeling. It’s recommended to go on a boat to enjoy a complete experience since they provide snacks, drinks, and snorkeling gear. If you decide to drive there, there is a parking area close to the bay by the Montage Resort.

This beach belongs to La Paz municipality, but its location is closer to Cabo San Lucas. Cerritos beach is another of the favorites beaches for surfing, this is on the Pacific Ocean. This beach with brown and soft sands is perfect to spend the afternoon and enjoy the sunset.

Lover’s Beach and Divorce Beach

These 2 beaches actually share the same area, they are just at the opposite sides. They are located next to the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas. The Lover’s Beach belongs to the Sea of Cortez in El Medano, and the Divorce Beach belongs to the Pacific Ocean. The best option to get here is by water taxi, they drop you off and they’ll come to get you later.

Cannery Beach

A popular beach for locals due to its swimmable areas which makes it perfect for families with kids. Even with its calm waters, it doesn’t look as nice as others like Medano Beach, Santa Maria, or Costa Azul.
